How it works
How it works: Please schedule your appointment when you are 4-6 weeks from harvest. The sample must be collected in Virginia within 30 days of harvest and in Maryland within 15 (subject to change when Maryland puts out 2022 regulations.)
I will drive to your farm and take 4, 5-8 inch cuttings of flowering tops per contiguous lot of less than 4 acres. A sample is needed for every varietal. See codex for number of cuttings needed for more than 5 acres.
Your composite sample will be sealed in a brown bag, labeled with your registered grower #, sample # and lot #, and shipped that day to the lab. Should your crop be "hot," and you choose to remediate, another sample must be taken post-remediation. See VA Hemp Sampling guidelines.
Lab results will come directly to the producer.
Grower may choose a lab of choice, or Mount Vernon Hemp Agent can recommend a lab.
